Breckenridge nightlife
The Breckenridge nightlife is a good enough reason in itself to book a ski vacation there. With decks and patios for après, cozy bars for a quiet drink, and late-night clubs, the Breckenridge nightlife scene offers a large variety of evening activities. There are more than 30 bars, clubs, pubs, and lounges that line Main Street in Breckenridge. From low-key to chic, there are an overwhelming amount of options for a great night out in Breckenridge.
Breckenridge après-ski
- Most of the Breckenridge après scene takes place slopeside at the base of Peak 8 and Peak 9. The T-Bar is a new après-ski hotspot in Breckenridge at the base of Peak 8, located in One Ski Hill Place. Slide up to the T-Bar after a day of skiing or riding, this après joint is right on the slopes, and enjoy a few well-deserved drinks. The T-Bar is just a few steps from the BreckConnect Gondola you can get a fast and free ride back to downtown after a proper Breckenridge après.
- The bartenders at Base Nine Bar, located at the bottom of Peak 9, will shake up a great martini for you. Billiards and flat-screen televisions make Base Nine a great spot to watch afternoon games if you’re a sports fan.
- Head over to Mi Casa, which is across from the Peak 9 Village, for great après specials. Mi Casa’s wings, tacos, and gold margaritas are the perfect complement to a day of skiing.
- Tiffany's Sports Pub features après-ski entertainment and daily drink specials.
- The Park Avenue Pub is an easy walk from Peak 9 and worth checking out, too.
- The Coppertop Bar is a busy downtown hangout for après in Breckenridge because of the large patio, live music, appetizers and menu, and beers on-tap.
Breckenridge bars
Take a stroll along Main Street to get a feel for the downtown Breckenridge bars. Burke & Riley's Irish Pub is a relaxed pub with a great draft beer selection and late night food options. If you’re looking for night clubs in Breckenridge, Cecilia’s is the place to go. Cecelia’s—considered the best late night hot spot in Breckenridge—is a lively scene every night of the week during the ski season because of the multiple bars, huge dance floor, and spinning DJ. And, if you want to try a taste of history, saddle up at the Gold Pan Saloon, the oldest operating bar West of the Mississippi. Gold Pan dates back to the mining boom days in Breckenridge.
Breckenridge Brewery & Breckenridge Distillery
Locally made libations are the calling card for Breckenridge thanks to two must-visit spots: The Breckenridge Brewery and Breckenridge Distillery.
Founded by a local Breckenridge ski bum with a skill for brewing delicious handcrafted beer, Breckenridge Brewery has been bottling craft beers since 1990. There are year-round ales that you might recognize from the bottle shop, such as the smooth Avalanche (amber) ale or delicious vanilla porter, seasonal micro-brews, and special small batches if you want to try something special at the Breckenridge Brewery. The relaxed and laid-back atmosphere found at the Breckenridge Brewery is a favorite spot for both locals and visitors after a day of skiing. One visit to this brewery, and you’re going to garner a taste for drinking Breck-made brews.
If you’re a fan of fine vodka and bourbon, you have to check out The Breckenridge Distillery. The Distillery is open six days a week (closed Monday) and you can swing by to watch the guys mash, ferment, and distill their renowned products; or, step into the Downtown Tasting Room on Main Street to try complimentary pours of their award-winning spirits.
