Where to stay in Valle Nevado
The resort base village offers guest three major hotels:

- Enjoy all the comforts of home and then some at four-star Hotel Puerta del Sol.
- For the budget-conscious traveler, Hotel Tres Puntas is the best option.
All three lodging options, like most South American ski resorts, provide all-inclusive dining. If you would like to try other restaurants, Valle Nevado offers a host of cuisine options including Chilean, Italian, Mediterranean, Swiss and French cuisine and two fast-food restaurants.
Valle Nevado is a mere two hours from Santiago, Chile which allows time for skiing on the day of arrival and before the transfer to the airport on the day of departure.

The skiable area at Valle Nevado, especially when considering the incredible accessibility of Tres Valles lift ticket, is vast to say the least. With treeless terrain and only 14 lifts spread across the large area, the terrain options are limitless.
With nearly 70 percent of Valle Nevado’s terrain designated as intermediate to advanced, the resort is namely an intermediate skier’s resort. The terrain is largely comprised of wide-open, groomed runs ideal for laid-back cruising. Beginners also have gentle slopes to aid them in comfortable progression and optimal enjoyment. At Valle Nevado, experts will find a couple of steeper bowls and chutes, but the real draw is the backcountry access and heli-skiing available in this region.
